  • Kiwanis Luncheons: September 10 and 17. We need two representatives from Key Club. 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. You need to have a PLB and inform your teachers that you will be missing class.

  • Clean Water Campaign: 
    • May 6: Pay $2.00 to get out of class for two hours to have fun with activities dealing with water
    • May 11 Concert at 7 at the Colegate Parking Lot : $10.00 Admission Ticket and T-Shirt: $15.00 
  • Senior Recognition Kiwanis Luncheon: May 14 from Noon-1:00pm All seniors are expected to attend. Please let Justin know if you are unable to attend. 
  • Relay for Life: May 17-18 at the Belpre Civic Center  
  • Thank You: All volunteers for the Mock Crash. We had great Key Club representation.  
  • FINAL SERVICE PROJECT: May 4 from Noon-4:00 Putnam Church Pre-School Carnival. There are 35 one hour spots open. Please sign up

    • Wednesday: Duct Tape Contest: Pay $1.00 for each piece of duct tape. Tape up some of your teachers during 5A and 5B Lunch 
    • Thursday: Jorts and Flannel: Pay $1.00 to wear these 
    • Friday: Seniors vs. State Troopers: $1.00 admission during PLC 
    • May 6: Pay $2.00 to get out of class for two hours to have fun with activities dealing with water

  • Teacher Breakfast: Thanks to all who contributed and served the Teacher Breakfast on March 20. The extra breakfast items were taken to the Boys and Girls Club. 
  • Parenting Workshop: Thanks to Kensley Lowther, Cady Lennington, Megan Warner, and Justin Warner for helping with this.

  • Teacher Breakfast: March 20th. We need you to bring in breakfast items. Please sign up. We mainly need donuts, donut holes, fruit, milk, orange juice, and casseroles.
  • Parenting Workshop: March 20th from 6:30-8:30 in the auditorium. We need your help. Please sign up today!
  • Kiwanis Luncheon: We need two representatives for tomorrow!
  • Landscaping at MHS: We are planning on revamping the landscaping yet again this year. The date is April 6th. Projected time is 9 am to noon. Please listen to the morning announcements for updates on this project.
  • Clean Water Campaign: NHS, Student Council, and Key Club will be participating in the Clean Water Campaign. Our goal is to raise $13,700 to build a new well for a community in Africa. Please contribute to the coin drive.

  • Officer Training Program: This is a requirement to become an officer for 2013-2014. Nominations will be next Monday and Elections will be March 18. 
  • March 9th: 9:00am-Noon: The girl scouts are in need of volunteers to assist them in creating a butterfly garden at the Marietta Middle School.

  • New Lt Governor: Isabel Charlton 
  • American Heart Association T-Shirt Sale: Successful. We raised around $2700 for the American Heart Association.  
  • Mardi Gras Party at WASCO: Thanks to those who helped. The residents were extremely appreciative.

  • Teens for Jeans: A success again this year! Thanks to all who donated.

  • American Heart Association T-Shirt Sale. Please buy one! $10.00 
  • Mardi Gras Party at Wasco: February 12. The weather should not be bad so if you have volunteered and cannot get a ride, you may walk down to WASCO at 9:00. The walk is short and the parking is limited at WASCO. Please get a PLB from your parents to attend.  
  • EVE Chocolate Party: February 17. Shifts from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and 4:30-5:30. We need help from 3-4 and 4:30-5:30. This is at the Levy House.  
  • Officer Training Program: Are you interested in becoming an officer next year? We will hold informational meetings starting today which will be 10-15 minutes long. This is a requirement to become an officer for 2013-2014.

  • Teens for Jeans: This is the last week we are accepting donations. Please bring in your jeans and get a coupon for 25% off! 
  • We need 2 people to go to the Kiwanis Luncheon tomorrow.  
  • American Heart Association T-Shirt Sale. $10.00. Please see Jillian or Justin if you want one. These will go on sale TODAY 
  • Thanks to those who have signed up for the Recycling Program. We will start the program this Friday. 
  • Mardi Gras Party at Wasco: February 12. We need help from 10:00am until noon. We will be passing out candy and beads. You will miss school for this. We need at least 5 more people.
